Before becoming what it is today, 700,000 Heures Impact took the form of a travelling hospitality experiment – moving from place to place, season after season, to explore how travel could be lighter, more attentive and deeply human. Rather than building permanent structures, we chose to inhabit places for a time, listening, learning and creating experiences rooted in the rhythm of each territory.

These floating seasons allowed Thierry Teyssier to host personally, shaping journeys with care and intuition, and cultivating a rare closeness between travellers and the places that welcomed them. This spirit remains at the heart of every journey: to arrive gently, to share meaningfully, and – once the season ends – to leave communities free to continue, transform or pause hospitality on their own terms.
